Guest guest
hmmmmmmmmmm, so, can they draw titers on animals? I got Harley's rabies shot (the only one required by law here - she's a pit bull, I don't need any other problems LOL) last summer, but never took her back for teh parvo/distemper. I just couldn't, in good faith, do so. She gets sick everytime she gets one of those stupid shots (the rabies shot doesn't make her sick at all, but the parvo/distemper UGH!) in IL
Guest guest
Thanks, Jackie! maybe I'll just have them run titers on the parvo/distemper before I have her vaccinated. I so do NOT want to do it, but we live in a high Parvo area (I've never heard of distemper here, but I think the vax comes combined) in IL
Guest guest
, why not use homoeopathic nosodes if you want protection for your dog? We just got a puppy (now 12 weeks old) and have him under the care of a homoeopathic vet who has given us nosodes for all the major *doggie* problems. Very easy to use, and imo a damned sight more effective without the dangers. I would have not bothered at all, despite the fact that being rural we are designated high-ish risk, but our insurance stipulated either nosodes or vaxes. As there was no way on earth I would have had the pup vaxed, nosodes it was. I actually think it's pretty enlightened for an insurance company to accept nosodes...) Guest guest
Can those be purchased without a homeopathic vet? We don't have one near us at all. I would be willing to do anything to keep her safe from Parvo without the vaccine. in IL RE: Even Animal Doctors Recognize Vaccine Foolishness > , why not use homoeopathic nosodes if you want protection for your dog? > We just got a puppy (now 12 weeks old) and have him under the care of a
Guest guest
I would have thought Jackie Noel ought to be able to answer this one for you, Kay. Sorry - being in the UK, I'm not much help with the practical aspect of it! Could you order the nosodes by mail from a homoeopathic vet? Our pup was given a combination nosode which covered distemper, parvo, hepatitis, leptospirosis (?) and something else which slips my mind at the moment!
