Hate to tell you this, but root canals ARE VERY BAD for you

Ibuprofen also bad.

I'll also send dental info

Also vit c needs to be very high doses according to info I've sent

But you may not be OK even with homeopathy and all due to problems with

root canals

I'm wondering, and perhaps thsi will be answered in the material, but

what alternative is recommended to root canal? It seems that pulling

the tooth can bring on worse problems related to bone loss.

Hi Ninette,

Sorry to hear you are in pain. I had a root filling (as they're called in

the UK) eleven years ago (have had much dental work) and a few hours after

it was done, I had an allergic reaction to the formaldehyde used in the

lining of the temporary root filling. I had excrutiating pain like I have

never known before - like a knife in my head. I went to an emergency

dentist who attempted to remove the lining, but she only succeeded in

pushing it through the apex of the tooth and I had to have an emergency

apicectomy the following day. It was subsequently root-filled with a

different lining. I have often wondered if a cavitation remained - my

dentist says that there isn't one, but I'm not sure. Within months I began

suffering from severe sinus problems and a distorted sense of smell, and

strep. pneumoniae was isolated from a turbinate swab.

I agree that root fillings are bad news, but when you don't know any better

it's all too easy to choose them over losing a tooth. I don't have an

answer for you except to question whether you might have had a reaction to

the lining as I did? If so, you could get it removed and start again.

Well, it just depends on the real need

If you find a dentist who understands the dangers he/she is more likely to

help you avoid it

Personally I would pull the tooth before getting one.
