Well, the traumed and rescue remedy is keeping her calm and comfortable. I'm

loading her up with activated charcoal to pull the junk back out of her

again....and giving vit c of course. Looks like they did a number on her. It

was a

DHLPP booster(not sure what all that is but sounds nasty) along with the

rabies shot.

They do produce their own but it is fine to give vit c to them when ill. :-)

They don't do this only to animals - often to children too. One of my

patients brought her child to the clinic for a booster and was slapped with

a bill for TWO vaccines. When she queried the nurse, the nurse replied,

" Oh, we thought that since you're here, we might as well give the 2nd

vaccine " !!!

Well, cod liver oil is helpful for measles and possibly after measles vax,

but don't know about whatever they gave your dog?

And don't know if dogs need Vitamin A or D.

Just had another email about a rescue horse, pregnant and due any day, and

vet gives 3 vaccines including west nile virus WITHOUT PERMISSION and then

proceded to do the usual - tell the person who was complaining that if she

was a caring pet owner she would vaccinated and just sloughed it off and

actually started laughing at her horse

These people all make me sick

Can you sue vets for this kind of thing? Or charge them with anything?

Certainly wouldn't pay the bill

And I don't think you give Vit C to a dog either - I htink animals produce

their own - I may be way off, but that is what I think I've read. Be

careful and check.

If I knew more what they gave her I might have more of an idea.

but certainly lots of arnica for the wound situation

Always start with arnica - frequently can give. Every 20-30 minutes for

quite a few hours and then every few hours.

Then find hte remedy that matches her symptom picture the best.

What recourse do people have for vets that do this?

File charges with police? Law suit? What? I have no idea?

And how do you suggest she boost the immune system of a dog.

I don't believe in routine homeopathic use - there is no one-size fits all

remedy.

Constitutional treatment would certainly help this dog for total picture

including this.

But what other things can people do _ I don't know dogs and a what you all

would do
