That's what happened to Kara, too, isn't it? Boy, we dieters are a stressed out lot, aren't we? I'm glad to see it was nothing serious, but what are you going to do to lower that stress level? Do you have some hobbies you can delve into, or at least a lock on your bathroom door so you can have Calgon take you away now and then with a nice long soak? > Weight is 230# which is 4# down. Yee-Ha! Glad to see progress is being made.
Guest guest
I noticed that during this icy season I am under a great deal of stress and my heart does palp and my arrhythmia goes crazy. I am calm today though. Marie Doctor's weigh in Doctor says my heart is strong and healthy and there is a normal S2 metallic sound when the mitral valve closes. He says palpitations are caused by stress and/or fatigue and not life threatening.Weight is 230# which is 4# down.KimTo unsubscribe DO NOT send a message to the list. Please click on this link and unsubscribe:100-plus/join
Guest guest
He also said, " Return to your normal life, be as active as you want to be, if they become troublesome to the point they interfere with the quality of your life, come back and we can try a beta blocker. " Happening 2-3 times a week they are not so troublesome. My b/f has arrhythmia. It is just crazy listening to his heart. It just beats all over the place. BOOM-wait-wait-BOOM-boom-BOOM-wait- Boom. He says he has no musical rhythm either. Can't clap to a beat or dance. Guest guest
Sounds like you are living my life ... bet you're heaving the same sigh of relief that I did when the Dr. said everything is okay ... but it still gets frustrating when you are getting into a good rhythm with your activities and suddenly your heart is leaping out of your chest, doesn't it?!?!?! Guest guest
I was hugely relieved. For me the palpitations only happen when I am lying down. I have to think they are stress related for me. I remember my exact thoughts just prior to the last incident: " What if I never change anything about my life? Never change jobs, never keep a clean apartment...
