Message of the Day

NEVER TOO LATE!

There are 17 days left before we ring in the New Year. Have you seen the results you wanted to see so far this month? Yes? No? Maybe so? Look, it`s Monday, and I know how you love starting over on this day, so start over by making some holiday commitments to yourself that you can honestly keep! Now if you`re saying to yourself, "I`m not gonna have any sweets for the rest of the month," you and I both know that will never happen! Your commitments must be realistic, or you`ll never keep them. Try these on for size!

"I will keep my appointments to exercise." I know you can do that! All this year, you have seen the results of your workouts, and you just can`t slack off now.

"I will make sure to drink at least 8 glasses of 8 or more ounces of water every day." Hey, there are going to be a lot of choices of beverages at this time of year. Make water your number one choice! No one got in a car accident by drinking water.

"I will not skip any of my meals." You can`t be that busy that you can`t sit down and chow down! If you don`t plan your food daily, you will just snap until you resemble one of Aunt `s rum balls!

"I will get on the scale once a week to check my progress." If you wait until January to hop on, you will read it and weep at what you might see, and we want none of that!

"I will keep as busy as possible to avoid food." Make a list of everything you have to get done each day, and get it done! If you get bored, you`ll end up spending a lot of time in the kitchen, and that will be very dangerous.

"I`m going to look my best every day." And you know what? When you look your best, you feel your best, so spend a few extra moments in the morning futzing over you!

"I will put on my positive hat before I leave home in the morning." Look at life through rainbows, not storms. Think good thoughts about you, and others will think the same, too.

"I will be thankful for every day I am alive." Get up and treasure each moment that God gives you, and yes, life is just a bunch of moments all put together. Think of all the blessings that have been bestowed on you!

These are the best presents that you can give to you that don`t quite fit under the Christmas tree. It`s never too late!

Love,
