I'm going to try get him into the asthma doc today instead of his regularly scheduled appointment Monday. I hope his office isn't overwhelmed with flu people and he can squeeze Henry in. > now. I didn't get the antibiotics until almost 3 weeks into it. Henry got his right away, so the fever is gone, but he still feels as lousy as he did on day 1, with the cough and sinus crud. >with sinuses/ear ache then that plus a sore thorat, swollen glands and fever, This was Henry on Friday. >yesterday my left lung hurt most of the day > on anything more then a shallow inhale, but no real wheezing or Henry was too tight to wheeze, so he's had to take all his asthma meds around the clock using the spacer from his childhood days. I'm glad I always kept them. > I just feel run down, overwhelmed and > somewhat exhausted. Now imagine taking calculus, history, and computer programming final exams while feeling like this. I feel so sorry for that poor kid! You, too, of course, and all theothers out there with this creeping crud. > If I get worse, I will call the Dr. I just don't know if they will > make any changes at this point. This is why Henry is telling me not to bother calling the asthma doc. He's already taking all the meds he usually gets put on when sick, and about all he could do right now is what, try different meds that didn't work in the past? I'll see what he wants to do when the office opens at 10. I tried calling yesterday afternoon to make the appointment but they closed up before 4 pm. At least I got the kid to eat some chicken soup yesterday afternoon.
