Hi y'all! Thought I'd wish everyone a Happy New Year, as I probably won't make it back onto the comp later today. Have too much house scrubbing to do. (My great-grandmother drilled into me that whatever state your home was in on New Year's Day was how your life was going to be for the rest of the year! So I want it nice and orderly!)

Mystic, where in Ontario are you? I'm in SW, and am moving to London area in the spring.

As for the Discovery challenge, it's open to US residents only, so that rules me out ... and I really wanted a free trial for a fitness club, as finances are really tight around here (and yes, I *would* really use it!) Unfortunately, the clubs around here only offer a one-trip trial ... so pack everything you want to try into that one day. Ticks me right off! And the Y offers assisted memberships, but you are required to sign up for a full year, and since we are moving in a few months (hopefully) that would be partly wasted. So I'm sticking with my tapes and walking the dogs, and once we've moved I'll look into gym memberships there (and, as a bonus, we're moving to the same city as my in-laws -- can we say babysitting privileges? They've already offered, BTW)

Well, I should get going ... Need to tackle the mountain of clothes strewn on the laundry room floor. (Never ask your husband to carry the clothes down ... he won't use the basket!)

P.S. I invested in a pedometer the other day ... really nice one. Got it at Target for $12 (joys of living in a border town!). It measures steps, calories, distance, and time. AND it talks to you! Been wearing it, and have been averaging 9,000 steps per day. I know we're supposed to work on 10,000 steps, but I don't put mine on until I've finished my RS tape ... cause it tends to fly off my shoe when I do the high stepping. So, 9000 steps PLUS a workout video ... think I'm meeting my minimum.
