RESOLUTION SOLUTIONS

Well, the last day of 2003 is today, and you know what that means! It`s time to make out your New Year`s Resolutions! Hey, now don`t be that kind of person who has decided not to make any this year. You`ve got to make some! You`ve got to have a plan as you build the new you this year! Most people are not realistic when making out their promises, and like I told you, promises are important. It`s the promises that you make to yourself that are sacred.

A lot of your resolutions for New Year`s must involve your health, because if you don`t have that, all of your goals will be a lot more difficult to reach. If you`re still smoking, your commitment to quitting should be on the top of your list. If you can`t do it by yourself, then go to your doctor, and he will assist you in finding the best way for you to stop lighting up.

If you have a substance abuse problem, get some help. Talk to your family and close friends who worry about you so. There are many successful programs out there that can help you get clean and sober.

If you are an eater, you will have to learn to stay on a balanced program that you can live on for the whole year. If you are lazy, resolve to change your evil ways and get your body involved in physical fitness.

If you are on too much medication, get a new doctor and bring him every pill that you`ve been prescribed.

There are so many other resolutions for you to make. As you check off each resolution that you accomplish, you will feel so good about yourself that you`ll keep making new ones all year long!

Your super duper whopper of a resolution for 2004 is to live and love the present and stay out of your past! In the past, you`ve been on many diets and have lost and gained weight many times. In the past, you`ve bought exercise equipment and joined gyms. You got depressed in the past and just gave up. You know all about your past, and frankly, it scares you to even start thinking about taking care of yourself in the New Year! You just keep working on the now and WOW! You`ll finally start to see a bright, healthier future ahead of you!

See you on HSN in the next few days. I`d better let you go! You have some resolutions to write in your new journal!

Love,
