Guest guest
Sue, Sorry your not feeling well... all I can say is welcome to the club! My husband asked me last night when I woke him up coughing when I was going to call my Dr. I just grumbled at him and tried to go back to sleep. I guess the Nyquil didn't do the trick. Anyhow.... we were off and running all three kids and myself before 8am. I had to drive to East Lansing yet again, only we've had the first significant snow fall for the year and the roads were a bit slippery. I saw several spots where cars had gone off the road, and a few that were still there. I had left early with plans to get gas, but decided that it would be best to just go straight there, then hubby called me on the radio to inform me of traffic so I decided to just get the gas first. Anyhow, only a couple minutes late to the appointment. Last night was Miranda's Musical, she did well, other then goofing off a bit (she was sitting next to the WRONG person). Anyhow, it was fun and I think everyone had a great time. We got home after bed time so off to bed it was. Today is Brownies for both Miranda and Meredith, they will be having a mexican dinner during scout time and then heading off to the old folks home to carol. They will be done about 8pm and past bed time so again wound up and straight to bed. I will be making Indian Fry Bread for the dinner and I also need to slice up tomatoes and shred some lettuce, I will have to make the finger Jello for tomorrow today and then tomorrow we have the party, dance class and I have to make something (still don't know what) for hubby to take to work on Friday. Sooo the weeks is in full swing and I can't wait for it to be over! Speaking of the snow earlier, we took the truck on a drive to the woods as we had some work done earlier in the week back there. It was just beautiful with the snow falling lightly on the trees and the christmas music in the cd player. I could have sat out there for hours watching, but alas I had to come in and get Meredith lunch for school. I hope everyone has a great day! a
