If a person doesn't check with their doctor before taking these suppliments, then they are asking for trouble..and that's what this is all about. If they made these suppliments available by prescription only, in a controlled atmosphere, they wouldn't be any more of a threat than say... aspirins. Because of the surge to natural products, large drug companies are losing money hand over fist to homeopathic remedies and I think they will do whatever they can to railroad this alternative care. I can see that eventually there will be regulations put in place for health food stores too, where they will have to be responsible for all their alternative items which are deemed " unsafe " unless under a doctor's care.
