Guest guest
I actually exercised this morning!!!! First thing I did before turning on the computer, before grabbing anything to eat... ok I used the bathroom first, but other then that and weighing in (UGH!) I did it! Ok.... I've been about the same weight for the past few days bounding a couple 2 pounds or so. I've been retaining water and I know it accounts for some of the weight. I put on my exercise shoes this morning and they felt a little tight (due to swelling in my feet) so I know it isn't *all* fat that came back. That having been said I'm up 13 pounds in the past 2.5 weeks! I was doing so good maintaining I'm not sure what to say except blame it on all the holiday eating, but still 13 lbs seems like alot of weight to gain for just that! Anyhow.. that makes my current starting weight back up to 375lbs. I'm still 24lbs less then this time last year so I guess that is something. I know what we are having for dinner, now to plan breakfast, snacks and lunch. I have my food mover right here next to me so I will be doing that next and then running out for a nice cold gallon jug of water (we keep them outside during the winter if it's above freezing just to have cold water Anyhow, now that I've amazed you all and actually done some exercise time to make it on my calander and keep it up! a who hopes you have to call guinness tomorrow when I've exercised 2 days in a row! Guest guest
WOOHOO!!!! I'm going to do that next <GBG> My toes are so tight I can't stand it and I've been drinking my water - still, I'm up 5 pounds the past week. I worked out Tuesday and Wed and did some power cleaning ( got rid of 2 large bags of trash - more to be done though) yesterday. You're starting out this year lighter than last - so that's a great start <<a who hopes you have to call Guinness tomorrow when I've exercised 2 days in a row!>> darn - you'll be breaking my record LOL The harder you fall - the higher you bounce Call Ripley's! Guest guest
>I've been retaining water and I know it Do you take anything for this? If not, at least cut out all the salt in cooking, salty snacks, try put your feet up when you're sitting or in bed, and I've found that a B-Complex vitamin helps flush some extra water out of my system. > That having been said I'm up 13 pounds in the past 2.5 weeks! Well, that plus the known water weight. I've been known to gain 5 or more pounds overnight after a salty meal. > Anyhow.. that makes my current starting weight back up to 375lbs. > I'm still 24lbs less then this time last year so I guess that is > something. I thought I was going to break my record and exercise 5 in a row, but wound up skipping yesterday when Ed dragged me out of the house for most of the day. By the time we got in I was in no mood to pop a tape on. At least I got some outside walking in, but not that much. Sue in NJ Friends: The rubber duckies in the bathtub of life.
