Guest guest
You look beautiful in your wedding dress. Talk about a glowing bride! I also love the after dinner pics of the girls! My mom has one of me with cherry baby food all over. I look like I have been in a terrible accident! LOL I still have a long way to go before I can fit in my wedding dress, but my original wedding ring does fit. I put it on this morning, and am still wearing it. It is not as nice as my 10 year anniversary one that I normally wear, but Oh it is great to be able to wear it again. I was totally amazed! Congrats, a! >but I can wear it > because it isn't *that* tight. Always a good thing! I'm *still* waiting to get up the energy to clear out the living room to set up the cutting board again and get started on those aprons. I got the pattern pieces separated last week and that alone took over an hour. Sometimes I wish for the old days, when a pattern envelope had one size, one view, not these multi-sized, 20-view things they have out now for 20 times the price! And I re-washed a piece of black knit that had been stewing for a few years in my stash. I bought it in the fabric discount store we used to have next city over and should have looked more closely at it at the time. In about 3 different places there were holes or runs. Out of the 6 yard piece I bought to make 2 pairs of pants and a vest I'll be lucky to find enough non-defective space to get just one pair of pants. Hopefully I'll be able to get a vest out of it and just put some quilted patches or some other design thing over any hole I *must* incorporate into it. Even at the buck a yard I paid for it, it's still a good deal. I *do* miss that store. Sue in NJ

Guest guest
> I am going to be Mother Earth, tub of parquet and all! Parkay margarine? Or wooden parquet flooring? Guest guest
I couldn't remember how they spell it. I am not going to write it, I am going to buy a tub. My 11 year old spells better than I do already. I am a member of the spell check generation! <g> I try not to let him know that I can't spell, but he knows when I make him look it up instead of telling him that it means I don't know how. ;o) Cherilyn > Re: Gowns Was:New here > > > > I am going to be Mother Earth, tub of parquet and all! > > Parkay margarine? Guest guest
<<<I am a member of the spell check generation! <g> I try not to let him know that I can't spell, but he knows when I make him look it up instead of telling him that it means I don't know how.>>> My grandmother (by no means a member of the spell check generation in 197???) always made me look up how to spell a word - as did my teachers. As a child I thought they were mean or lazy, really how could you look it up if you didn't know how to spell it lol. Fast forward to 1992 or so and you'll hear my 1st grade daughter saying the same thing lol. I think it was a great favor by those mean old adults and I think your son will benefit from it one day - it just may take him becoming a parent to realize it “The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it.” - Baptiste Moliere RE: Gowns Was:New here
