Guest guest
Hi all, Just a quick note.. as the designer from Trading Spaces would say... My scales are acting " wonkey " today. I hopped on and it was 369, then I stepped off and it was 373, then I stepped off and on again and it was 371.5. Normally it is within half a pound when I do that. I just want to verrify the weight before I put it in. I don't know what to think! Maybe I need to replace the batteries, which at the cost I wont' want to do (6 C-cells). I guess I just need to break down and make the trip to radio shack for the ac adapter. Anyhow... I did exercise yet again today, but boy were the back of my thighs killing me! I only got a little over 10 minutes in on the tredmill, but averaged 3.1 mph while on and did half a mile in that time, so not great, but MPH was better then yesterday. I'm not sure if I should now be posting miles or minutes since it is taking me longer on the tredmill, but I feel like I'm getting a little better work out. Oh well..... I guess I'll do it this way for today. Change from last week... unknowen Mileage with : 4 Mileage on the tredmill: 1.5 total minutes: 90+ So yet again I stink! BUT I did find a new inspiration for losing weight! They have the cutest T-shirts at wal-mart for about $10.00 that are tweety, pooh bear, tigger and so on. I have not been able to fit " comfortablly " into a 26/28 shirt in a long time, but I'm sure I'm getting closer! I had on a shirt yesterday that I have avoided for a few years because it was a bit tight (I like my lose clothes), anyhow... it fit just fine, so I'm hoping given a few more pounds (another 20 maybe) that those cute t-shirts will fit! a
Guest guest
it was a bit tight (I like my lose clothes), > anyhow... it fit just fine, > a, That is wonderful! I am so glad you are getting to see changes like that. It is always great, when things begin to loosen up! I am so impressed by how you just get up and dust yourself off and try again. Today on my diabetic loop, a lady posted an inspirational saying. I immediately thought of you. Here it is: Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, " I will try again tomorrow " . - Anonymous I have a big box of size 24 stuff I will send you when you get there! ;o) Cherilyn
