Guest guest
What I meant was what Seattle Lady said once. You fill your measuring cup to like 1 cup (I could use a 2 cup measuring cup for this). You then stick your fist into the water and note what the water level is when your fist is in the cup. (mine went up to 2 cups) Then you subtract what that 1 cup from what you got when your fist was in it - (with me it was 2 cups minus 1 cup = 1 cup). Sorry if it was confusing at first! in WI Portion Size > ok i read on here...if you took a measuring cup filled it to the 1 > cup mark, then put your fist in fully...the amount that went up > would be your carb serving. Is that correct? I did it and it went up > to 2 cups. So does that mean my portion size is 2 cups? I hope this > isn't a goofy question..lol > > > > > >
Guest guest
Although the food choices are good, you're probably getting too many calories. Even though you are seriously lifting now does not necessarily mean your body can handle extra calories if you're trying to lose. You cannot go wrong using the palm/fist method of measuring. BFL won't be successful with inflated portion sizes. Stasia
