> I hate it, too. When FlyLady said 15 minutes was a good start, it was good > enough for me.

When I first got my treadmill, I made up a few audio tapes of my favorite music. I used 30 minute tapes so there's 15 minutes per side. Since I *love* Disney soundtrack music, it was a lot more fun walking to "Spoonful of Sugar" and "Zip A Dee Do Dah" than than some boring "March to the Beat" tape that I had, and I actually enjoyed my daily walk. On a so-so day I would only do one side; and good days got the whole tape.

Of course, like in all my other endeavors, I got bored and lazy. I tried making tapes with other music - Weird Al, Poison, even Hendrix - but the thrill was gone and the sciatica pain was in.

Every now and then I dust off those tapes, steal my headphones back from the kid, and hop on again. I did it one last week, and have to agree it felt pretty good, just a nice stroll for 15 minutes at a slow speed. In fact, one song I used I felt was *too* slow! Of course, the next morning I had plenty of excuses not to repeat the performance, even after I made a promise to myself to treat exercise like a dose of needed medication and just do it!

Perhaps *this* week it'll all fall in place again. I'm on another Disney kick. Bought Snow White and Disney Treasures - Behind the Scenes at Disney Studios on sale yesterday, downloaded some Disney songs earlier in the week from Win MX (Shh! Don't tell anyone!) and saw that DisneyWorld Unwrapped special on TV (I always thought Marc Summers was cute!). The prospect of walking to my Disney tunes again should make me look forward to it again.

I hope!
