Guest guest
We always put salt on grapefruit when I grew up. It brings out the sweet Peace Pat
Guest guest
Hi, I just ate a sweet potato without adding brown sugar. What a concept! I added butter and Equal and it was yummy. I've been eating lots of grapefruit without adding sugar too. I think the natural sweetness is starting to get through to my tastebuds that are used to sugar! I'm stuck home for the second day with a sick kid. At least I'm getting all the laundry done. Ann
Guest guest
I totally love grapefruit, except my family always put salt on it. Ick…Another great snack is vanilla nonfat yogurt and fresh strawberries with a little bit of Equal. I hope your sickie gets well soon’ Have a great day and always keep the faith,

Yum! Watermelon season is right around the corner. That's a no no on Sugar Busters but I can't imagine summer in Houston without watermelon so I think I'll disregard that rule. Funny that you should mention the yogurt. I got a big tub to make tatziki (?sp) sauce for chicken souvlaki. I had some left over so I added Equal and vanilla and I just finished having it for a snack. I used to put that in the Donvier icecream maker and it was yummy. That's the icecream maker where you leave the little cannister in the freezer and then put the ingredients in and stir occasionally. Makes very good frozen yogurt. I have to find it and stick it in the freezer. Ann
Guest guest
I don't use raw, but cooked sweet potato smoothies are so delicious I can hardly believe that they are good for me! Guest guest
Years ago, we were visiting my sister in law. She was doing a big "Christmas Eve" for the entire family as we had traveled from CA to Okla for holidays. She put out a veg plate for dipping in several dips. One item was this reddish orange slice which tasted really good. Have to say I was astonished to learn it was sweet potato! I had gone over 40 years without knowing I could eat sweet potato raw. haha Velda On 1/31/2012 5:31 AM, Lea Ann Savage wrote: If you like the taste, yes, it could handle it raw quite easily. I would chunk it up into pieces though :-) Blessings, Lea Ann Savage Satellite Beach, FL (321) 773-7088 (home) (321-961-9219 (cell) www.VitamixLady.com www..com <))>< On Jan 31, 2012, at 8:09 AM, Kat Rat wrote: But it could handle raw, correct? ~katrat > > Does anyone use raw sweet potato in their smoothies?
