Guest guest
Message of the Day GLAD/SAD/GLAD Are you sad? You know, right now, in the midst of all this holiday happiness? Well, you`re not the only one. A lot of people are sad these days. Let`s see if we can fix this sadness right away. Are you sad because you`re lonely, living far away from family? Don`t you have a corral of friends in your life? Don`t think sad; think glad! You should realize that if you have you, you can never be lonely. Think today how many people love you and are in your life. You`ll be surprised! And if you like your own company and have a pet, well, lonely times here I come! Are you sad because you are bored? Remember who makes your life boring. You do! You may be feeling that boring sadness for a moment, but let`s face it; you have too much going on in your life to be bored for long periods of time. Don`t be said; be glad! Make a list right away of all the chores and errands you have to do. Call a friend and get out of the house and take a walk. If your body has just been lying around doing nothing, start moving, and that movement will wake up your brain. You`ll be so busy, you`ll surprise yourself! Are you sad because you`re still struggling and struggling with your weight? You`re up, you`re down, and you still feel round. You`re so upset about this that it`s all you can think of. The obsession grows and grows until it haunts you hourly. Don`t be said; be glad! There are so many wonderful things about you. Take an inventory of that. You have to think about all the wonderful gifts that God has given you – your loyalty, your honesty, your love for others, your kindness, your patience, and your gift of laughter. Remember, you are the only one to make your frowns flip upside down and make you smile. Appreciate all the energy that comes your way today. Five happy thoughts always break a sad mood!
