Hey Lucy go to the website and hit database and there is a chart set up PLUS you can post a message to the group.

I took the poll & noticed that several (but not all) of us would like to do weekly weigh ins, are we going to start doing that on here. I, for one, wouldn't mind doing them. I was just curious.

Until we decide for sure what we're doing, you can go to the Database page

and add your stats to the list:

100-plus/database/ ,

or, if you're in a rush to get started formally, join the TheFoodmover list

and get your name and stats in for next Wednesday's list:

TheFoodmovers/

You can just post them to the list with the subject Weekly Weigh In, and the

listkeeper, K, will find it and add you to the list. I have nothing to

do with that list except be a faithful member since 1998.

I would be fine with that. It would be nice for me to be able to see of others maybe that need to loose like I do and know I am not alone. It is kinda scary when I think about I need to loose an entire person :(

It is kinda scary when I think about I need to loose an entire

person :(

I feel the same way!!!!! I think a weekly weigh in would be great.

It would give me something to work towards. Almost like a small goal

every week.

Verygood Idea Miranda. I like that. A goal to work to. I dont know who decides if we do the weigh in or not but I hope they will decide to do it.

I need to lose TWO! I just can't look at the BIG picture -- it's

too daunting! I've set a mini-goal to be under 300 (51 lbs lost)

by June 1st....

I try not to think of that. My (short term) goal is to lose one to two pounds a month. That is about 12 to 20 pounds a year. I can to that. Break your goal in to smaller goals. And give your self rewards for reaching those mini goals. After I lost my first 25 pounds I got my self some computer software I wanted for a long time. The loss of the next 25 pounds got me a PDA. I have not chosen my next reward. But I have lots of time to think about it.

Tami - try looking at it in small segments - like 5 or 10 pounds at a time. Looking at the big picture (150 pounds for me) is way too overwhelming. But looking at it in segments (like 25, 50,70, 100, etc.) is much easier to handle mentally.....

Thanks for the advise Jelayne! I noticed you had set smaller goals in the other letter you wrote me! I think that is good. I wish I could loose more than 2 pounds a month so it wouldnt take so long. 20 pounds a year seems soo long. :( I have 141 Pounds at least to loose. I am hopin to loose like 2 pounds a week at minimum. Really wish I could loose more. I dont know. Tomorow is the official Big start day for me. I have been doin a bit of stuff but tomorow I start all the way with countin every calorie, tryin to drink water, and exercise. Thanks for all your help.
