Thank you ! I am not sure I am going to be happy with my goal weight...I don't feel ready to quit losing. I belong to TOPS and I can be 7 pounds under my goal...that would put me at 143 pounds (I am 5"5'). Maybe by the time I get 5 more pounds off I will change my mind or maybe I have been losing for so long I am just afraid...light bulb moment? WOW...gonna have to do some journaling!

Yes, but remember I have quite a bit of extra skin hanging around. LOL The estimate is that if I had surgery to remove the extra that it would be at least ten pounds and maybe more. My Dr. said that I should not go by the chart because they are for people who have never been overweight. It also depends on bone structure.

If you're eating that 1400 calories now and still losing, well, I guess your

body is trying to tell you something. :)

I am eating 1200 calories and doing a lot of exercise.

I started out wearing a 4X top and a size 28 pants. Now I wear a small or medium top and a size 10 pants. The last dress I bought in December was a size 8. I am pear shaped and the weight that I would like to lose is at the tops of my thighs.

That is why my doctor set my goal at 150 and with TOPS I can go as low as 143 without changing my goal.

to.

I would love to have the skin on my tummy, thighs and hips removed but I have not won the lottery yet! LOL The first thing I have to do is fix the front tooth I chipped last month...it needs capped! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ even with our dental insurance!

- this journey we are on, bottom line is we never stop learning, do we? I think you'll know when the time is right to stop losing, but I can undestand where you would be afraid to stop losing.....

At 5'5 " I was always told my ideal weight is 125, and some other weight

charts have that height as low as 110 (skeletal!). 150 - 160 is the high end

of the height, so you can afford to go quite a bit lower and not worry about

it.

If you're eating that 1400 calories now and still losing, well, I guess your

body is trying to tell you something. :)

Good memory! I will not go up to 1400 until I get 7 pounds below goal.

I seem to remember that you were so happy when you hit goal because now you

*could* go back to 1400, because 1200 cal. didn't give you much food at all.

What made you change your mind?
