Guest guest
Ugh! I feel like I'm going to throw up. I ate way too much today. I went out for Japanese lunch, had icecream for a snack and I went out for Mongolian BBQ stir fry dinner with friends. After that we went to Starbucks and I had a large frappucinno. I just looked up the Starbucks website and they don't have calorie info on there. No wonder. I've been planning the Japanese lunch for weeks. It was just unfortunate that it landed on the same day as dinner out. One or the other would have been fine. Both in one day is way too much. I feel stuffed and sick. The bad news is that I just weighed and I've gained 8 pounds since yesterday morning. (Yes, I know that only morning weigh ins are significant and only Mon. morning weigh in are " official " for me. The good news is that when I weighed in on Mon. morning I had lost 3 more pounds. After my eating today I'll have to work extra hard to make sure I don't have a gain when I weigh in next Mon. Tomorrow I'll eat 3 squares and drink plenty of water. I won't eat too little to overcompensate for today. I guess it is good news that I feel sick. In the past I could have eaten like this with no problem and still had room for more. My appetite has decreased somewhat and I don't want to stretch my stomach back to its old capacity. More good news is that I made it to 30 pounds on Mon. Actually I skipped 30 and made it to 32. Woo hoo! I'm going to leave my New Years goal at 236 because I could very easily blow it and gain 10 pounds by Jan. 1. It's way too easy to fall back into old habits like I did today. On Jan. 1 I'll move on to another goal. I ***will*** get back on track tomorrow. Shredded wheat w/ milk for breakfast, lunch at my parents' house (usually healthy and moderate portion) and chicken fajitas at home for dinner. I'll snack on carrots and apples. Today it got up to 77. That is very unusual even for Houston this time of year. Dh took the day off and we took the kids to a field to fly kites after school. It was fun and I got some exercise chasing kites. This morning we watched my 2 year old's Christmas program at preschool which was very cute and funny. It was a very nice day except for stuffing my face with too much yummy food! How the heck can anyone be thin with shrimp tempura around?
