You can find the calorie info. for Starbucks and just about any other

restaurant at www.dottisweightlosszone.com. I use this site all the time. I

use this site to help me make choices before I go to a restaurant.

I am sure the things you ate had a lot of sodium in them...some of that

weight will be gone soon.

Ann - yikes! Don't you hate days like that! Have faith - it will all

disappear like magic! By the way - congrats on getting past that 30 pound

mark and all the way to 32! It will be back before you know it!

I overate yesterday because someone ticked me off big time! And that got me

going and didn't end until I closed my eyes! Now I am paying the price BIG

TIME!!!

But as you said...back on track today......

Hi Ann! Well, you had a bad food day. I lost it at publix last

week. I posted, but I don't know if it made it to the site. I was

really, REALLY hungry and they had all these samples. So, I know how

you feel. So, HOW MANY days have you been really good? I bet it's a

lot! In the long haul, this is only ONE day. If you're like me, it

used to be that every day was like that one! So, Ann, be proud

of yourself for 1) being transparent with the gang and 2)for desiring

to get back on your program.

You have been such a help to me. I am so glad we can be here for each

Boy, do I know the feeling! Monday I sat and ate an entire frozen pizza. Not

a small one, but a honking big Celeste with pepperoni! I don't know if it

was stress, hormones, the weather, or what, but I just was drawn to it. And

I ate it *after* I had my regular lunch, too, and my snack!

Life happens. Just move on to the next meal and go from there. Remember,

this *is* the holiday season and sometimes we have obligations we can't

avoid and have no choice over what food is served.

So ignore it until net Monday.

Remember, this plan is for life, not just for one day. See what happens by

Monday, or the Monday after. Congrats on the 3 pounds gone for last week,

and I'm sure they'll have some friends following by next week.

I miss those days. Now I can barely gt three words out of my kid. At least

as of 5pm he's now officially on semester break, so I've got him for the

next 30 days. He might loosen his tongue again within that time frame. :)

Ack! This is so tough. We do so great and then we fall hard. Put some

neosporin on those skinned knees and get up and keep trudging. :) You've

made such a healthy lifestyle change and you should be very proud of

yourself for your long term commitment to your health.

No kidding! Me too. Make mine Burger King though. I only go to Mcs

when the kids insist. :)

And my kids won't stop talking! I'll try to enjoy it while I can but it

Ugh. One bad day turned into 3 bad days but I'm doing ok today. I have to

stop the downward spiral and start climbing out of this hole. It's so darn

easy to fall in and start eating again. Ack.

Ann - what you need is a little grace. You can do this! At

least you don't have 170 pounds to lose! That will really give you

something to think about! Ha Ha. I like santa but don't want to

look like him forever! What exactly is not working? Is it snacks?

Are you not preparing yummy veggies? Or are you surrounded by

garbage food? My kids at school have been eating for literally a

week. They finally finished this afternoon. It was enough to

drive you crazy. I have faith in you that you'll figure out what is

wrong and get right back to it. You have been a great support for

me and so many others! Hang tight! Dodie

Well.... I ate out lunch and dinner on Tues. and my body seems to have

gotten used to the idea of being fed yummy food again. :P Wed. was just

stupidity. I bought chocolate cookies and peppermint icecream to make

icecream sandwiches. What the heck was I thinking? I ate 6 of those darn

cookies. Argh. I planned on having an icecream sandwich for dessert but I

didn't plan on binging on the darn cookies. That's why I can't have stuff

in the house. Yesterday I went out to lunch at my favorite Tex Mex

restaurant. It was my last time to myself until Jan. 9 since the kids are

out of school. Going out to lunch with a good book (or a sleazy romance!)

is a treat for me. I really like it. The problem is it entails calories

and money. I need other ways to feel pampered that are cheap calorically

and financially. :) I just like good food too much. I need to plan meals

out for a rare treat, not a regular event. That's what I've been doing

since August but it's easy to slide back into old habits.

What do you teach Dodie? I'm considering being a high school physics

teacher when my 2 year old is in first grade. I've thrown away my

engineering career by staying home with my kids and I'm trying to find a

family friendly career.

Thanks for the pep talk. I'm doing fine today. I've been home all day with

my 2 year old just cleaning up, doing laundry, reading e-mail, etc. I have

dinner planned and I also planned dinner for the next few days. I need to

get back to planning a week at a time.
