Guest guest Posted December 2, 2002 Report Share Posted December 2, 2002 Hi, After my bad week I weighed in this morning and stayed the same. I'm very relieved. This morning I walked dd to school. She rides her bike so I go as fast as my little legs will move. I added my extra loop and it felt good to be moving again. I usually weigh before we leave for school but today I weighed after my walk to give me a little edge after my bad week. Even though I ate some fast food this week and overate other stuff I never binged or gorged myself like I would have prior to August. I did fine yesterday and I feel like I'm back on track. Tomorrow will be a challenge since I'm turning 39 and we'll take the kids out to dinner. I need to think about a good, kid friendly place to go that has healthy choices. Hmmmm.... I've been wanting to go to Mongolian BBQ. That's pretty healthy since it's pick your own stir fry. Yummy and pretty healthy since you can load up the veggies. Not a lot for the kids but a few things they like. I really want to work hard and lose a couple of pounds this week. I have to stay focused! Vonn, 2 year old dd, and I are stuck at home today since she has a bad cough. It's one of those coughs where I debate whether to take her to the doc to get her lungs listened to. Hmmm.... I guess I'll wait and see. If I take her to the doc she'll just catch something else. Next week will be tough since I have two cookie exchanges to go to. Yikes! I think I'll skip one but I really want to go to the other once since it's the Mothers and More ornament exchange and it's a lot of fun. I need to work out some coping skills for the meeting. Maybe I'll allow myself 4 cookies and take a tin to fill for my parents and a tin to fill for dh to take to work. That way I won't have any cookies at home to tempt me.
