Guest guest Posted July 24, 2002 Report Share Posted July 24, 2002 Ha what a difference a day makes. The humidity has left us for a spell. AHHHH... I can do my walking again. YES.... Yesterday had two drs appointments. You will be happy to know Miss weighs 38lbs and is 39 in tall. Healthy as a horse. I asked about her being TO BIG for her age. He said no she is 90th in both weight and height. He said just keep doing fruits, veggies, and low fat milk. Also said to keep up on her breathing problems this winter. So if she gets a cold that goes to her lungs to bring her right in. Abby had to do her follow up with her ear dr. A+++++++++ on that front. Abby says she tastes better, smells better, and can hear a bit better. So if you believe something is wrong with your child keep pushing until you get an answer. That poor kid would still be suffering today if I did not go around the nurse practioner. Then after the drs we went to Mcdonalds. I had promised Abby back when she had surgery. It waas so hot we ate there. The girls did great. Miss Abby said MOM that is the best fillet fish I ever had. So I was sitting there pondering it is to hot to cook. So I got a bag of chicken sandwiches and double cheeseburgers for dinner. Came home and made pasta salad. Thank god for the $1 menu. LOL Now for me I have not BEEN on program like I should BUT I have also learned something. Yesterday I knew Mcd's was coming up so I ate light for breakfast. THEN had a double cheeseburger and then shared abbys fries and drink. Then for dinner had a 1/2 chick sand and 1/2 cheeseburger with a scoop of pasta salad. Then last night it dawned on me I did not snack at all today. So even though the food I ate was not great I never STUFFED myself OR overate. Now eating mcd's and not overeating for me is WOW in itself. So I think for ME when I am not maybe on PROGRAM my 3 meals 2 snacks and 100 oz of water if I make better choices I can still survive. I think what I need to do to get on a program is leave a little wiggle room for myself. When I try to do an exact menu it is harder for me. Not sure why. So for the rest of the week I am going to write my food down the night before instead of a week ahead. Because when I do it a week in advance I may not want to eat tuna on wed. BUT doing it the night before and having options in the house my help. I wish FOOD was not so complicated for me. I have to increase exercise. I have to dig deep and do this. I had a stack of jeans set aside that were to tight and a stack way to tight. So I felt good yesterday and tried the stack of to tight. WAY to baggy. Especially in the front below the belly button. WEIRD... Abby says mom just stuff it there. CUTE KID... She still is running threw the house so I wont catch her. LOL So I tried the way to tight on not even close. So I am stuck with my 3 pairs of jeans that I have. OH WELL.. Gives me motivation to get into those jeans. I wish I sold on ebay so I could make a little money to buy some used ones online. BUT hubby and I have a deal not to sell on ebay. OH well. Maybe I will post to the garage sale list I belong to. Gotta go grocery shopping. I am looking forward to friday spending the day with my folks. So everyone have a nice weekend if I dont get a chance to read my mail in the next few days.
