What is considered the ideal " safe " age to get chicken pox? My oldest

two are vaccinated, but my youngest was not quite 15 months when the

little girl up the street had it. I thought about exposing him then but

he was getting over a cold and an ear infection, and I wondered if he

was really old enough...any thoughts?

I was 7 months old when I had it... " caught " it from my 2 year old sister who

got it from our 3 year old brother.

My kids were 2 and 4 when they had it. They handled it very well.

when my older 2 were small & I worked pediatrics, it was said that anything

before 2 wouldn't obtain immunity. Do I believe this? NO, and I didn't then!

lol That was still back when I vaccinated & thought that doctors really knew

what they were doing to our children.

Both of my boys got it at 23 months (weird huh?) had it in 8/92 & Chase

had it 5/95. They both did really well. was A MESS!!! but came out

unscathed & no scars. Chase has one small scar on his right cheek. He had less

& I don't even think I had to give him stuff for the itiching, he just spent the

better part of the week in the bathtub!

Good Luck. I don't know what's going to happen when Liam gets bigger! I hope I

can find them!
