OT: sleep apnea in children

Hi all,

One of my children has interrupted sleep, especially when she has a cold or

is stuffed up. When trying to learn about this on the 'net, I see that the

treatment all the conventional people point to is surgery on tonsils or

adenoids.

!!!

Can homeopathy help a structural problem like this?

Hi Ester,

Are you sure this is true sleep apnoea?

Interrupted sleep can be resolved by a homoeopath although I must

admit (turn away Sheri!) that the best result I got for our extremely

stuffed up son several years ago was with a cranial osteopath....

Hi All,

My son developed sleep apnoea after his first DPT/OPV vaccine at 2 months of

age. To this day, he still has trouble with breathing at night or breathing

through his nose at any time. He had his tonsils and adnoids removed when he

was not even 3 years old (If only I knew then what I know now - I never,

ever would have allowed that surgery) and it made no difference at all

except possibly for making his immune system even weaker. The only thing I

found which helped was treatment by an anthroposophical doctor from NZ.

Unfortunately, he stopped coming to Australia and I have never been able to

get my son to make the same strides he did with this practitioner.

Cranial osteopaths are just fine! Many use in conjunction with homeopathy-

especially in autism

Chiropractic is just fine

Many things are just fine...............besides or along with homeopathy

Its just when someone is treated allopathically, the problems begin or

continue

Suppression of any kind from suppressing emotions, to suppressing any

physical symptoms - with drugs, with herbs, with even homeopathy that isn't

prescribed on the total symptom picture.
