Guest guest
Well I guess I better tell you my remedy. I have had monthly migraines (hormone associated) for years but now I found something that usually works within 30 minutes if I eat it when I feel the headache coming on. I mix organic cocoa powder, honey, and peanut butter into a fudge. I usually microwave it a few seconds so it will mix easier. You can add a little milk and turn it into a thick chocolate sauce to put on something else (banana, graham cracker, nuts). For me anyway this works like a charm (big smile on my face). I have suffered many years- if only I had discovered this years ago! It is probably a combination of the caffeine, theobromine?, and magnesium that is working. (I am still smiling). I was PMS yesterday - felt the headache coming on, made my fudge and ate it, 30 minutes later there was absolutely no trace of a headache. I would stick with organic cocoa powder- I read about quite a bit of pesticides used in the conventionally grown. Please let me know if this works! Guest guest
My family suffers from migraines too, actually that's one of the reasons my dad became a chiropractor! He's suffered from them since he was about 12 years old. My younger brother has suffered from them since he was about 10 and so has my cousin. I was in a car accident about 8 years ago and have had them since (I was about 22 at the time). Anyway, I start getting a migraine when my neck needs to be adjusted. My dad adjusts me and my headache usually goes away. Have you tried seeing a chiropractor? unvaxed mommy to Jaeden and Kendra (also both unvaxed) > I'm sorry that this is off topic, but can anyone tell me what causes migrane > headaches? Nothing worked for me - years and years of trying everything Finally homoepathic treatment and 2 months later cured and never another since - ? 8 or 9 years now, I think. Sounds like a yummy remedy that you have. I tried everything......I went over and over and changed this and changed that. I couldn't figure it out and couldn't get rid of them. 15 years every 1, 2, or 3 weeks lasting 2 or 3 days and always after I had pushed myself to put on a conference/retreat or tour. Every conference or retreat or tour I conducted with a migraine the first 2 days. Life was good except for that. My mom had them too and both brothrees. I think we inherit some tendency or what we call in homeopathy a miasm I started gettting them when I was 31 years old See a my other email - a good homeopath was able to help me and cured in 2 months - never to have them again.
