So, ask them why on the flumist package insert it says (under " Precautions " )

that recipients should avoid close contact with immunocompromised individuals

for up to 21 days?!

How to respond to this...

I posted on another how we are banning stores that are doing the flu mist.

Here is the response I got:

If it isn't giving the person who's just inhaled it the flu, which is won't,

then it won't give the sneezed-upon person the flu either. At the worst, I

assume that sneezing promptly thereafter would just reduce it's effectiveness,

but I suspect it is absorbed very quickly and won't be sneezed out at all.

I would say "if you're interested, feel free to look it up." I would not waste my time trying to hunt down documents for people who just like to see others jump.
