I live in Central New York, and just saw a segment on the news concerning Pertussis in the state. My 6 year old nephew has had a terrible cough for weeks upon weeks, as a matter of fact, the poor child is always " sick " (cold, cough, runny nose, etc.). he doesn't come over much, but i noticed almost over night, my own two children, ages 3 years and 13 months, began coughing terribly. it's a phlegmy sounding, persistent cough that gets worse at night. my 13 month old coughs so bad he ends up vomiting up his milk from his nighttime bottle. This has happened about 3 times in the last 3 days. We took them to their dr., and the physician's assistant said they look good, sound good, lungs sound good, throat is clear, that it is most likely just a coughing bout that will go away, and to give them cough syrup to ease the symptoms. I have started giving my son Pedialyte so he doesn't get dehydrated. -------------------------------------------------------- Sheri Nakken, R.N., MA, Classical Homeopath Vaccination Information & Choice Network, Nevada City CA & Wales UK $$ Donations to help in the work - accepted by Paypal account vaccineinfo@... voicemail US 530-740-0561 (go to http://www.paypal.com) or by mail Vaccines - http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/vaccine.htm Homeopathy On-Line course - http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/homeo.htm ANY INFO OBTAINED HERE NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS MEDICAL OR LEGAL ADVICE.
