If you can stomach it, try three tbsp. of unrefined pure coconut oil

daily. It has antiviral and antibacterial properties. And since it is

a food, shouldn't be a problem with pregnancy. I was pregnant last year

and ate coconut oil--never got the flu.

I cook with it and get a good tsp./day into my kids too. My baby gets

the benefits in my breast milk.

Hope you get over this soon.

We've been experiencing that as well. I've been hit twice with a nasty head

cold, though it was less severe the second time around. My dh has been sick

twice in the last 2 months (and he's rarely sick with anything). He's trying to

get it back for the 3rd time.... cough, stuffy head, scratchy throat.

We're using homeopathy and that is helping, but it's strange that I've been

hearing alot about lingering colds (probably from our bodies trying to fight all

the extra junk in the air from the Flumist)...

Just thought I'd let you know that everyone around here who has been

sick with a cold is going on 5 or 6 weeks...it seems to let up, then

comes back again...
