Guest guest
I think it's the few references to alchemy here and there.
Guest guest
The only thing I can think of is that it is close to nature in their minds and might make some word association thing to Wicca perhaps? m p wrote: > hi, I am just curious? why would people think it is of the devil? you > think maybe they may think it is sort of like voodoo or something??? i > honestly have no idea , myself.... Guest guest
I have had patients who stopped seeing me and know of Christians who will not try homoeopathy because their church friends told them homeopathy is satanic! From what I understand, the reason is that they lump hom. together with all the new age activities. To them, new age means tarot cards, channeling, reiki etc. And all new age activities are satanic. Such behaviour is quite typical of humans - we fear what we do not understand + the unthinking herd mentality. Guest guest
Hmmm...bizarre to me. I am a Christian and use homeopathy. I've mentioned it to Christian friends and no one has ever said anything about it. The " religion " behind some Christian philosophies is always frustrating to me. It's unfortunate that people would not use a safe/effective way to treat illness using God-given things from nature. I'll be sure to ask my pastor though -- I'll let you know what he/she says.
