Guest guest Posted December 12, 2003 Report Share Posted December 12, 2003 I have ben lurking on all this flu stuff. It scares me of course all the babies dieing its horrid. AS you know Phyliss Georgic on the list is out Homeopath. Chaela come down with fever tuesday aftrenoon after complaining of sore throat. I immediatly called Phyliss who instucted Ferrum Phos cause she had fever but not really any other symptoms. She seemed to tolerate it fairly well but extrmely tired. By Wed we had fever all day up and down from 100 to 103. We used only homeopathy. I must say i have 4 kids and have never seen fever transpose how heres did. actually her fever last time she was sick did the same thing my other kids would get a fever and KEEP it. Chaela will go up and down up and down with in a few degrees Phyliss says it is her body and the homeopathy letting her body deal with what ever she is fighting. So by mid day on Wed we had a 104 fever no other symptom except tiredness and she wouldnt let me touch her ear but said it didnt hurt. We switched to gelsinum. And went through the night with it. We took a HOT bath with lavender wraped her in HOT towels and then dresses in warm jammies and drank teea trying to get her to sweat orders from Phyliss. She woke up 2 am thursady sat straight up in bed and said I am HUNGRY lol we ate apple and tea and fell back asleep fever was 101. I woke up she was kicking covers off and sweating by thursday morning her temp was normal. We are still using the remedy for her ear is alittle red and ear drum slightly bulging I looked in there lol. All in all we are handleing this pretty well or atleast she is Mommy was alittle worried but Phyliss said you need the remedy lol. She is always there to support us in homeopathic advice and a wonderful friendship. Guest guest Posted December 12, 2003 Report Share Posted December 12, 2003 I also called my homeopath since I was sick all week. No fever, but awful muscle pain, foggy head, headache, exhaustion. Still had an appetite though. Oh, and sneezing/coughing, runny nose. She prescribed Gelsimium (which was my choice based on Sherri's list, Thanks Sherri!, but I wanted to double check w/her anyway). I took about 6 doses over the next 36 hours. Went to work Thursday feeling only slightly better, but really had to go to work. Pretty tired and crappy feeling that evening. Around 6:00 or so, I started feeling a fever coming on. Checked around 8:00, 102 degrees. Went to bed around 10 (2 year old refused to go to bed -- he feels better, lol!) Sweated all night with that fever, fitful sleep. But when I got up this morning, fever was gone, and I feel at about 90%! Still a little tired, runny nose, but I'm feel soooo much better!!!
