Guest guest
<<DO NOT suppress rashes with creams and ointments of any kind including cortisone Sheri>> My oldest son, with all the " almost " autism signs, had exactly that progression...vaccine reactions, gobs of eczema and diaper rashes, cortisone, petroleum...the list goes on... For this reason I haven't done ANYTHING about my youngest's occasional skin problems except switch products, soaps, clothing, etc...worked well...the only problem we have left is some " cradle cap " he's had since about 2 months old...scaly, yellow patches on his scalp...we used dandruff shampoo that gets rid of it for about a day, then it comes back. I won't let the doctor give me anything stronger, but it's been there for a year now...any suggestions? BTW, he has no other real " symptoms " ...unvaxed, no antibiotics until a month ago, mostly organic, fresh food (he's finally eating!), breastfed until 14 months (yea!), only 2 illnesses, never ran a fever until this week and it was low grade, very happy and easy and way ahead on all development except SPEECH...he hasn't said a word yet. I don't know where to look in the homeopathy book for scaly scalp patches!

Guest guest
, your son sounds exactly like mine. No vaxes, etc., but occasional exczema and dry skin. I have to use no soap at all with him, and I even have to use a hypoallergenic soap on myself (he climbs in the shower with me all the time, and just the soap running over him is enough to dry out his skin). I also use Burts Bees Buttermilk lotion on him, that helps. And no laundry detergent at all. I use those ceramic laundry balls instead. I wouldn't worry about the cradle cap, my son still has some cradle cap, is 2yrs & 4 months, still nursing a little, and a super slow talker. He's really only started over the past couple of months, and is just starting to get more comfortable talking over the last few weeks. I'm not worried, his motor skills are exceptional. This kid can traverse obsticle in his path. People are always amazed at what he climbs, and gasp and " run to his aide " like I'm a neglectful parent, lol! New updated website! Guest guest
Would putting calendula lotion on my dry skin be considered suppressing or would it interfer with taking my constitutional remedy?
