Guest guest Posted December 10, 2003 Report Share Posted December 10, 2003 There's up to 17mg of mercury in a 6oz can of tuna fish, 25 mg in the flu vaccine, and correct me if I'm wrong...but I believe 25 mg in the Rhogam...by the way, the benefit from Rhogam is only 1%. There is mercury free Rhogam available from the Bayers manufacturing company. Is the mercury that is in canned tuna, there because it was already in the fish, because of the canning process, or leached from the can? Is there mercury in the new packages of tuna that are sealed in a pouch? If so, anybody know how much? What about tuna steaks and filets? Does the same go for canned salmon? Salmon Steaks and Filets?
