Yes the tapes I got with my food mover are the broadway tapes. With

moving to the new house I have boxes everywhere here, but once in the

new place I will have tons of room.

Already ran into my first question. How do you know what kind of

dressing you are putting on your salad? I made a salad with cotttage

cheese last night and wanted to put ceaser dressing on it. (the white

creamy kind not the kind that looks like oil and water). The first

ingredient in it is soybean oil. I didn't know what kind of dressing

it was in the food mover book tho. Probably not a good kind... LOL

Also... I did my measurements and weighed in again this morning even

tho today isn't friday. I wanted to have a starting weight on the

plan. I am happy to say I lost 2 lbs! I am now down 10 from my

starting weight.

Today is my first day on the blast off week. I just hope I am still

this excited about it tomorrow.

My other question is how many are keeping track of inches lost? How

often do you measure that? I used rope and cut it to length for my

measurements and labeled what it is. I think it will be exciting to

see those pieces of rope get bigger on me. I also wrote down my

measurements in my notebook so I know what they are. Just not sure

what to expect in terms of changes in those measurements.

I don't know exactly what you're asking. I know what *I* use - either fat

free or those 2-calorie ones. Lots of others just use oil & vinegar, or even

just veingar- plain or flavored.

Now, according to the FoodMover booklet, regular salad dressing - 2

teaspoons count as one fat window; low cal types you're allowed 2

tablespoons per fat window. Under the Extras category, mayo, salad dressing

or sour cream, all fat free varieties, you can use 4 tablespoons for one

Extra window.

So you see, you get more for your exchange using the fat free variety.

Assuming this wasn't the low cal kind, you were allowed 2 teaspoons for one

fat window.

I find this a better measure than the scale.

How

> often do you measure that?

I *was* measuring every month, but when the weight started to climb back on

I didn't measure for a few months. I'm hoping to get hubby to help me take a

full set of measurements for the pattern software that arrived in the mail

so this will be the first time since around November.

Some people prefer to do this than look at the actual numbers. Much less

depressing that way. :)

As you lose weight and exercise, things will shift all around. If you're

like me, you'll lose in the weirdest places first, like the chest (I lost a

lot in the back) or may not see a change in the measurements for a while if

you lose in places like the face, legs, and other areas you didn't or can't

measure. Other folks are blessed and can lose an inch in the waist & hips

for every 5 pounds or so they lose.
