Yes, it's New Year's Day, the traditional start to weight loss plans,

exercise plans, and plain old resolutions to just " eat healthier and get in

shape. "

Did anyone watch QVC at midnight EST and see 's new Blast Off the

Pounds package?

Neither did I, yet. I taped it but haven't watched it yet. Hey, it's only

7am here! I'll get it done before the 9am show comes on. I want to tape

*all* the appearances to watch, and as soon as a new infomercial comes out

(and we *know* it will) I'll tape and watch *that* for support, too.

This has *got* to be the year I finally get rid of this extra weight I'm

carrying around! How long can a body last toting an extra hundred pounds?

That's 400 sticks of butter! Who wants to carry all that up and down flights

of stairs, around the mall, in a church pew? Not *me* anymore!

So who's with me? Who's going to make plans to day to dig out their

FoodMovers and actually *use* them? To ask on the list what the exchanges

may be for any foods we're not too sure of? To swap recipes, or ask for help

in finding the exchanges for a favorite recipe?

Who wants to make it a goal to lose X number of pounds, or exercise X number

of minutes a day, or even X numbers of days per week for this month? Either

keep your goals to yourself or share them with the list, it doesn't matter,

as long as *you* work towards them.

So people, let's get our rumps in gear and make 20-oh-2 our *best* year yet!
