HOLD OUT YOUR HAND 1/1/2002

Happy, Happy, Happy New Year to you! You know what a lot of people do on

January 1? They go to a palm reader, a fortuneteller who tells you your

future by looking at the palm of your hand. Hold it! Don`t be looking at

your palm right now. Don`t jump ahead of me, okay? Have you ever been to a

fortuneteller before? It`s quite mysterious and adventurous.

Fortunetellers usually work out of their homes and have a small room where

they invite people in to hear about their futures. They`re mostly women with

deep eyes that seem to look through you. They also have beautiful smiles.

You sit at a table, usually round, across from the fortuneteller.

“Hold out your hand.” Well, she rests your hand in hers, and with her other

hand, she begins looking deep into your palm, looking at all the lines and

the creases. She then looks into your eyes and tells you what she sees. Some

things may surprise you, and other things you may already know about.

Well, I`ve been to quite a few fortunetellers, so let me see your palm

again. Umm, this is very interesting! You see those 2 creases that go from

one side of your palm to the other above your thumb? Well, this means you`re

going to have a long life. Now look in your lower palm and see those 2

creases that meet in the middle. That is your happy line, which means that

this year, you will be so happy, you won`t believe it! You see that line

that appears when you bend your thumb towards your palm? That`s your weight

loss line, and man, this is the year when you`re finally gonna get to your

goal or close to it! How did I do? That will be $7.50. May I have your

credit card number? ;-)

While I think there could be some truth in all of this, I believe the best

way to know your future is to plan it. Today I want you to plan 2002! It may

take you a while to sit there and plan it all, but YOU are the architect.

You have to plan how to build your life, and Rome wasn`t built in a day! ;-)

Once you have your plan, put it into action immediately, and I want you to
