Guest guest
Believe it or not, when I called the phone number on the town web site (1-800-682-1616) earlier this week, they *still* told me the Platinum Sweat video is not available for sale yet. Then how come it's plastered all over the Internet in various other stores? As soon as the Christmas rush is over, I'll be ordering it from College Video (below). I've had success ordering things from them before. So, until I get my copy, here are 2 reviews of it. The first is the " press release " review that I saw on 4 other e-stores' web sites, the second seems to be from someone who actually watched the tape. College Video rates it as a Beginner's level, something just right for these old joints even if I'm *not* 55 yet. Also, remember will be on QVC at midnight New Year's Eve, 9am & 6pm, all times Eastern, New Years Day, showing his *new* BlastOff videos. The first one, with Latin music, is already available through Avon but *not* yet from his web site or QVC. Active Videos http://www.activevideos.com/instructors/richardsimmons.htm Whether you're 59 or 99, if you're young at heart, then this low-impact, high-energy workout is just for you. " Come Fly With Me " and 's wonderful Platinum Big Band as you twirl through some timeless tunes that'll make you feel like a kid again. " I Got Rhythm " , and we know you do, this gentle, 25 minute aerobic workout will have you reaching for " Pennies from Heaven " while you stretch, lift, dance and " glow " . created Platinum Sweat to be easy on your joints without losing a beat of fun. " Come Rain or Come Shine " , this is the exercise program that'll put a spring in your step, more energy in your tank and a smile on your face. And that's something that never goes out of style. 25 mins. College Video http://www.collagevideo.com/in-stock-videos/4878.htm Simple, not-too-structured moves, great Big Band music and a dynamic, fun-lovin' workout group (ages 55 to 82). After warming up with " Come Fly with Me, " you'll stay motivated with foot-movin' vocal favorites like " I've Got Rhythm, " " Pennies from Heaven " and " Come Rain or Shine " (performed by a live, on-stage combo). The routines range from familiar dance steps like tons and step touches, to basic moves like marches and small kicks. Always supportive and encouraging, even seems swept up by the uplifting soundtrack and his enthusiastic fellow exercisers. ©2001. (28 min.).
