*~*~*Why bother exercising?*~*~*

There are lots of really good reasons to exercise.

(It annoys the neighbors etc.)

Most of them you know already.

So let's cut to the bottom line.

The main reason you should exercise is because...

Exercise makes you happier.

Fact

Exercise releases certain 'happiness' chemicals into our bloodstream.

They're called endomorphines.

Result?

We feel much better.

And we lose weight faster.

Good enough for you?

~*~*~How much exercise, how often?~*~*~

If I knew the exact answer to this question, I wouldn't be doing this.

I'd be lounging in a nice heated pool surrounded by half a dozen

adoring young men clad in skimpy swimsuits,

while my mobile telephone took messages.

But that's another story.

A safe exercise plan

First, check with your local physician.

If he okays it, start doing 10 minutes of light exercise a day.

Gradually build up to 30 minutes a day.

Then, gradually make your exercise more strenuous.

Walking, swimming, dancing, cycling or any light aerobic exercise is fine.

The key, is to exercise REGULARLY.

Even fidgeting is good for you.

Statistics show that people who fidget lose more weight. (True!)
