Hope you had a good session!

Have you been able to keep up the morning walks like you had hoped? I hope

this job isn't going to keep you from your training. :(

I walked on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday this week! I *might* walk

tomorrow, but Monday is more likely....

I have set my working hours to start at 10 a.m. So, I get up at 6, walk

from 7 to 8, stretch, shower, and dress from 8 to 9 and leave for work by

9:25 to get there by 10. It's been an interesting transition! Food and

water are NOT going well! I'm up about 6 pounds. I've decided to stop

obsessing about food and " numbers " and see if my body can regulate

itself.... Every time I really focus on the numbers, I binge, so I'm giving

myself a bit of a break.....

I'll try to check in at least daily....

It's great that youwere able to get hours like that. I'm sure your body

would rebel *loudly* if you had to stop all that exercise you give it.

Yikes!! Whenever I worked full time, food was the last thing on my mind,

mainly because we so rarely go a lunch break that whenever we *did* get a

few minutes we would just grab whatever was handy - an extra tray from

dietary, split a sandwich a staff member remembered to bring in that

morning, cookies a discharged patient gave us as a thank-you gift.

I've decided to stop

It's a whole re-learning process. We career dieters usually eat by the

numbers instead of by natural appetite that we lose track of what our hunger

or satiation level (? too lazy to look it up, " being full " ) is.

Every time I really focus on the numbers, I binge, so I'm giving

> myself a bit of a break.....

Besides, with your schedule you don't have *time* to obsess over the

numbers! :)

Just check in when you have time, probably next weekend again.

Thanks Kate! I know it's going to take some time to adjust to this new

" freedom " . But, I think it's working..... I was lying in bed this morning

thinking about our weekly " breakfast out " as soon as we both wake up. I

normally order the works and give hubby my eggs (I don't like eggs) -- which

leaves me with potatoes, bacon, and a bagel..... AND a coke! Not a good

start to my day! I was thinking about having a short stack of french toast

today. BUT, as I typed this, I realized that what I REALLY want is that

bagel! I love " everything " bagels! So, I think I have melon and my bagel!

I'm actually here reading every day. The hour between getting up and

walking includes eating my breakfast (yogurt) while reading email. (Or else

I read while I'm icing my ankle.) However, there hasn't been much to reply

to lately..... I'm trying to stay out of the OT stuff for the most part.
