Gretchen....welcome to the group not sure if I

welcomed you or not. And congrats on the walk...your

on you way girl. And don't worry your body will get

used to all the water. When I stated in March I used

to be up 8 times a night going to the ladies

room....LOL. Now I only wake up to go about once or

twice a night.

Ice rink! Goodness Gracious, you're braver than I am! When I take my kids I watch from the sidelines. No way I'm getting out there. I love rollerskating, but I found that ice skating is a lot harder than it looks. Way to go on the 2 pounds. Don't worry, your bladder will adjust.

Well once again I was about 80 messages behind when I got on this morning. I did go to the ice rink with my husband and managed to do 5 laps. Before you get excited it's a small track and take 7 1/2 to complete one mile. In any event I'm happy since I havent walked in months.I really wasnt doing any diet, exercise, or water until Jaci introduced me to the list, but in the last few days I have done better and I weighed this morning and it showed a 2 pound loss. Of course I think that has something to do with me being up half the night peeing. I think I need to get used to this water thing.Gretchen330/328/150

get up on those little blades. My husband plays hockey and we were

watching him.

That's great taht you were able to do even that much! One of my goals for

today is to get back on that treadmill and do 10 minutes! The last time I

was on it was about 2 weeks ago, after being off for almost a month, and my

sciatica hurt so much I never touched it again. I know I *have* to get back

on it, even if it's just for a few minutes.

Baby steps.

ALL RIGHT!!

See, we're going to nag that weight of of you. :)

Some say your body gets used to the excess fluids. My 48 year old bladder

certainly *can't*, so I stop all liquids at 6pm when possible. Of course

things happen to change that, like having a soup meal planned then not being

able to actually *eat* it until almost 8pm like yesterday. :(

You may have to find your own body's time table.

Just keep up the good work.

Oh, STOP this, please!!

This body is getting so old that just the *suggestion* of dripping water

sends me running to the toilet!! You should see me when I do the dishes -

wash one dish, dry off and run to pee, wash and dry hands, repeat until sink

is empty.
