Guest guest
Please, what is the best way to treat the air venting system? Many thanks, P~ From: bird mites [mailto:bird mites ] On Behalf Of fritolay66 Sent: Thursday, October 09, 2008 6:54 AM bird mites Subject: Re: Anyone tried this? Time and persistence. By your account, it would seem you are disrupting their lifecycle. The next step is to disrupt their reproductive cycle and keep at it. Rumor has it that one must effectively disrupt three lifecycles and experience symptom free three lifecycles. Vacumming like a crazed french maid. IGR- powdered Nylar ? Guest guest
Hi, Pamela...its alot of stuff to do but I'll tell you what I do and continue to do. I'm still not finished but what I HAVE done helped. Ok, first off our ducts run under the house so I climbed under there in May and pulled out the old insulation. I pulled down the duct and poured hot water with bleach and dawn in it. Cleaned it out. Put it back on and used Mastik and metal tape and sealed the dctwork...along the sides and around each vent where it comes into the house. It was hot and nasty under there so if you have to do that I recommend getting a coverall suit from homedepot and wear a mask as all of the debris is so bad. Before I keep going on on someting that might not help you...Do your vents come up through the floor and also where is your inside unit, attic or hallway? > > Considering all the money I have spent on sulfur and soaps and etc. > > Out of all of them, the one that worked the best and happened to be the > > cheapest was Azure Sulfur Soap. Guest guest
I know some here have turned the pilot out and switched the fan to continously run and vented throughout the entire ductwork their treatment of choice. Guest guest
Thanks, Chastity. We are in a 2-story house. Unit is on the second floor. Ducts and vents come through the ceiling. We have taken the vents off and sprayed into the ducts, but we still get the black spots under the vents, even when the unit is turned off. I appreciate any ideas and suggestions you have. Guest guest
Well I am on day 2 of feeling pretty crawliless. Every once in a while I feel somethig for a minute or 2. I think most of what I am dealing with really is a fungus. The OO is doing wonders. i am making sure all towels and beding are washed or microwaved regularly and cloroxing the black ring in the tub every time I get out. Yes, since I started to do the teat tree oil baths my tub develops a black ring after I bath. Feels like this stuff is really going away. i just feel crummy and tiered a lot now. I notice if I go out and have a good time with friends 2-3 hours later my muscles, neck, most my body hurts and feels fatigued. At that point if I don't call it a night noises seem to loud and everything starts to get me irritated. I am assuming rest and detox is the only thing I can do about that. Other then that I probably just need to put up with myself until my system is clean of it all. So sad I used to have so much energy. I am still treating things as if we have mites just to make sure everything is taken care of as I don't want to make any mistakes. I also figure that some of the things I am doing are probably destructive to both forces. We shall see how it goes. Frito, I got the adams spray and had a feild day going through my leaving room with it chanting buggie birth control. My other half was laughing at me. Thanks for all the feed back all. J. Guest guest
Jeannine, I am going to be a mom here: Please make sure that you are drinking enough water. If you are detoxing, then you need to flush it out. Drink as much as you can and eat your veggies too Holly > > > Considering all the money I have spent on sulfur and soaps and > etc. > > > Out of all of them, the one that worked the best and happened to > be the > > > cheapest was Azure Sulfur Soap. Guest guest
Thanks Holly, I am drinking ton o liquids. Water with lemon, cranberry juice sometimes with the GSE, and green juice with all my veggie stuff, and green tea w/ jasmine. Eating fresh spinach, carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes, blueberries, pear apples, peaches, strawberries, peanut butter and honey on wheat, chips with flax seed, soups, and sometimes fish. Most of the same things we give the ratties too. Last night I cheated and had pizza though. Thanks for looking out for me, J.
