Hi Lucy...This link should provide you with what you need to upload photos to the homepage. if you click on one of your birdmites.org posts on visit your group. It will take you to the homepage, in which you can then select photos. In the upper right hand corner there will be a small blue photos help you can click on. That will bring you to the above link. Good Luck.

No your photos did not look like birdmites to me, they also look like Morgellon's. But, then again some Morgellon's photos look like birdmites to me. I can say the long skinny black thingie isn't something I have seen either.

Frito--do you think it could be collembola? Do you see the pointy thing on the

end of it in 1 picture?

Also--it is theorized that the larva cocoon themselves in natural fibers from

our bedding and clothing--that could be the threads in those other pics.

You are so wise--I love to hear your opinions and others!!!

I think I have posted that here before about parasites in general and their ability to incorporate the fibers from the environment in their cacoon stage. There are many parasites in which do that.

The first picture you sent me is not a birdmite. It is very similar to what Morgie's get and what I have now after the birdmites. The second picture is the long skinny thingie I was commenting on. No, it really doesn't look like a collembola. The furnicle of the collembola is midway extending in a downward direction or may run along the length of the abdomen. This picture has something sticking out in the end. It really looks like a broken piece of it so it is hard to tell for me. It is also blurred at mag levels. The third picture you sent me also blures at mag levels and seem to be the same entity but a different view. I do not see the furnicle either. All the collembola I have seen are fatter when lying on their sides and the furnicle beneath them.

The threads of question in the morgellon's arena, were found through MIT not to be of any known environmental etiology. It's my own opinion that the fibers are not from the environment but instead our bodies. For me, they seem to behave as fungal or viral bodies. I still think its all parasitic Lucy. Man-made, man-manipulated, or a nautrelle' it can still be fought because there are undeniable organic components.

Also I did want to add, not all collembola have a furnicle, but I still haven't seen one that looks like this. But I will look specifically for it from now on.

Lucy.....Furcula not furnicle. And, I am changing my mind. Yes, the 2nd and 3rd one could be collembola. The upper half seems to be missing, but yes, could be. Can you get anymore pictures? And that thing sticking out on the end, yep, could very well be.....

Those two you just sent look very similar to Morgs as well. That first one, where did you get that from? Lint, maybe, but I would like to know, did that come off of your skin or your clothing? are you using a digital microscope or are you using a digital camera?
