Yes.......we found them on our skin also but we found them on the floors. You are right about the die out period. Just as we got the things on the run that's when we started to see these little balls......no bigger that a sesame seed. At first I thought they were lint....but I am in my 50's and I keep a clean house and I have never in the past seen little lint balls on my floors, beds and skin. Very strange. Rita

Furry Mites?

This is a question that I meant to put out to the group, but actually was afraid too. Thank God for your bravery Rita! ;-) To answer your question...What I saw I had to view under a microscope. I couldn't quite see it in plain view. But some of what I saw were mites... with fur. Yes.. that's right... they looked "furry"... like they were "spinning" a cocoon or something. Some looked like they were growing fibers out of their bodies and if they continued, the end result would have been the spun cocoon thingy mentioned above. The one thing that every single one of these had in common that I noticed under the microscope, was that they had vibrant red and brilliant blue fibers attached somewhere either to them or within their little cocoon thingy. Now... the only time I ever found these was during the die out process and I found them on me. Not on the floor, not on anything else... just me. There weren't that many of them either. I just wish I would of had a way to have taken a picture of them under the microscope so that I could have upladed them for viewing. >By the way.........I wanted to ask you, as you have been doing the daily cleaning did you or do you now see little things that look like tiny lint balls on the floor? I use to see a lot of those but now I don't see any. They were about the size of a sesame seed and were beige to white in color. Rita>
