Guest guest
I hope we're allowed to vent here as I am truly LIVID. Not ticked off... BUT positively LIVID.... Condescending and patronizing people absolutely have no place in our state governments. The Dermatologists and entomologists that aren't willing to help the general population don't have the right to carry the PHD, MD or whatever it is that they " earned " after their names. As far as I'm concerned they can jump in the lake. What gives ANY of THEM the right to call me or any of us " CRAZY " or " Delusional " ? WE... as mite sufferers HAVE EARNED the right as Heroes, Chemists, Biologists, Housekeepers, ...etc... due to these infestations that we have all encountered, continue to live with and battle, or have battled and won. WE have learned to look through microscopes. We have learned " what to look for " . We learn the hard way which " potions " , " lotions " and which " hosehold chemicals " to mix or not to mix. We have put unthinkable amounts of pesticides on our bodies, and we have ingested things that we wouldn't normally. We have scrubbed, soaked, thrown away, boxed up and packed up and hauled off. We have cried and laughed all at the same time. Most of us are bankrupt, emotionally, physically, spiritually and monetarily. But WE ARE NOT CRAZY! We might very well be when all is said and done. But who has the TIME to be Crazy while this is happening? We're too busy doing all of the aforementioned and dreaming of returning to our normal lives. We are busy trying to get SOMEONE... ANYONE ... to listen to our plight. We are busy trying to save ourselves and our families. We ALL are BUSY, BUSY, BUSY.... Just don't say that I'm /We are CRAZY.... Like a " so called " government official said to me this morning... In short I was told that it was " impossible " for a mite to do this much damage... A formal complaint will be filed... If it weren't for this list.... I WOULD BE IN THIS ALONE... God help us all...
Guest guest
trlyblest, You're quite right. I think the only way they would believe us is if they got them themselves. It's ridiculous. All they know or care about are ants and cockroaches. Loviatar. > > I hope we're allowed to vent here as I am truly LIVID. Not ticked > off... BUT positively LIVID.... Guest guest
Amen! Your post says it all. And what will those doctors say when they all come down with this!!! I visited one doctor who gave me some heavy duty pills and told me to go home, take the pills and sleep it off for a week and the rashes will be gone! That's modern medicine for you....and he never even looked at my skin! I understand your need to vent! Lady Dee > > I hope we're allowed to vent here as I am truly LIVID. Not ticked > off... Guest guest
Lady Dee... We have experienced this repeatedly... makes me so mad... How can the medical profession make ANY type of assessment when they won't even touch us... do a skin scrape or a biopsy on the lesions? They'll stand 20 feet away and send us home with more crap to swallow or smear on our bodies... Which NEVER works... My best to you LD ! > > Amen! Your post says it all. Guest guest
Go for it Mel! I stand firmly behind what I've said. But I also understand Ray's explaination of " why " the med profession acts in such a manner. I hope that your derm is helping you or is at least willing to try and help you. That's more than I can say for myself. Any doctor that I've seen WILL NOT refer me to a dermatologist. (Even AFTER I was told last week that an appt. would be made for us. What a let down...) Good luck on your upcoming appt. (I'm jealous!) ;-) Keep us posted. God Bless... > I hope we're allowed to vent here as I am truly LIVID. Not ticked > off... BUT positively LIVID.... Guest guest
L3 , I think you're right, that ants and cockroaches are all they know anything about... I just hope and pray that someone in the med profession will wake up and take this epidemic seriously. God Bless... > > > > I hope we're allowed to vent here as I am truly LIVID. Guest guest
Lady Dee- They gave me and wife " sleeping pills " once and told us it would stop the itching and rashes. My wife took them for serveral days hoping something good would come of it. I only took one and didn't take anymore. I figured one of us had to do laundry and clean. One doctor rubbed her forearm all over my back and said, " See you don't have anything " . Luckily for her I couldn't stand it anymore and had took Iver and did a full body treatment of Permetherine 2 days before. You all need to organize a trip to Union Station in DC. Walk across the street to the Dirksen, and Hart Buildings. Walk to the offices and tell them you want to shake all of the Sentors hands while you are here on vacation. Of course, most likely they will tell you that honorable " so and so " is busy. Thank them anyway and when you do shake that persons hand. Ask for a mailing address so you can send a letter to the Senator. They will give you a papper with an address. Go home and wait 2 weeks and then send letters to all of those address and explain to them your symptoms. The people who gave you the addresses (and shook your hands) are most likely the people who open the letters and sort them for the Senator and they just might have the same syptoms as you in two weeks. ..........I better stop now. My mind runs a hundred miles an hour sometimes. ;-) I don't wish this on anyone. I just think like most of you, in that until an elected official or movie star gets this nobody is going to believe you or do anything to help. Does it make anyone else livid that billions of dollars get sent out of the country for other peoples health and well being when when our own can't even sleep at night or live a normal life. (I appologies to those out of the States, I just had to vent too) > > > > I hope we're allowed to vent here as I am truly LIVID. Not ticked > > off... BUT positively LIVID.... Guest guest
Ray, I am sorry that you and your wife went through that same experience with the doctors. You are right...it will probably take a really famous person to have this before it gets the attention it needs. The one good thing about the pills is that I still take them when I can't sleep at night! I did write my senator (California) and she eventually wrote back that the CDC was " looking into the disease " and that if I had any other questions, to feel free to write. The sad thing is that the doctors and politicians are clueless about all of this...Morgellons included. When Bush came down with Lyme's Disease, I was hoping that there would be more focus placed on bug vectored diseases...but I guess not! That could have been invaluable to all of us mite sufferers! Thanks again Ray and God Bless! Lady Dee > > > > > > I hope we're allowed to vent here as I am truly LIVID. Not ticked > > > off... BUT positively LIVID....
