I dusted my small environment with Sulfur powder

Hi Guys and Gals,

I am at an internet cafe catching up and don't have much time left so I

will post more tomorrow.

Three daze ago I sprinkled almost all the floors and baseboards in my

hse with wettable dusting sulfur $16.00 for 40 lb at fed store). I did

not sleep there for two nites and yesterday I sprad more of it about. I

should have worn eye covering (did wear mask) and had very swollen area

around eyes today. I am not sure if it is working yet BUT they hate

sulfur so MAYBE. It is kind of dangerous but I was at a new low and

DESPERATE. i HAD A DECENT NITES SLEEP LAST NITE. I did not open a

window and slept w/o the fan on which I usually do.

I'm praying for all of us...........esp SIC!

Hi Lou,

I'm glad you got some good sleep last night.

I read on birdmites.org forum a post about " Pestene dust " in

Australia that this person has used in two occasions effectively.

It consists of 1% Rotenone and 5% sulfur.

I bought the 1% rotenone dust (Bonide Company) at my local feed store

and mixed it half and half with the sulfur dust so I end up with 0.5%

rotenone and 45% sulfur (the sulfur I bought is 90%).

I've used it on the exterior of the house and in places where the

children cannot reach. I also plan to dust the entire attic with it

eventually. You may want to consider it if you are dusting sulfur

anyway.
