Guest guest
Tim, you are my hero. Thank you for all your continued efforts to help other's in dealing with this. Had I not found your site I am not sure what i would have done to be truthful. Just the fact that I know that I am not the only one dealing with this has given me more strength and motivation to overcome this than I've had in quite some time. Kudo's to you sir- Sikofmites PS- I am going to the University of Arizona this week to speak with someone in their entomology dept. They actually have a " bug identification " program there which the local citizenry can take advantage of if something from the desert invades their homes. The guy I spoke to said he had " heard of this type of thing " and would help me to get a sample together if I came out to Tucson. Done! It's about 6 hours from where I live so I am going to stay for 5 days and camp the whole time in the Sonora desert which will give me a chance to separate from my home and really attack this without fear of my home environment reinfesting me every time I get out of the shower or bath. I will employ all methods of attack that I've learned recently from your site and am expecting good results.... I think the dry air there will help too. Thank you! > > I am sorry to hear about your ongoing infestation, and it sure does > sound like some type of bird mites. I would encourage you to try and > find a good 100x-500x microscope. Guest guest
When you go to the University and speak to them in the entomology dept., you may want to show them some of the research already done documenting bird mite infestation of humans. Go to the 'research' webpage and print this info out for them. They cannot dismiss articles and research written by their colleagues:-) Good luck, Tim
Guest guest
Tim, awesome suggestion. I will do that before I take off. Are you referring to the research page at your site birdmites.org? Ps- what do you think about my theory about getting away and attacking it in a dry environment like the desert? > > When you go to the University and speak to them in the entomology > dept., you may want to show them some of the research already done > documenting bird mite infestation of humans. > > Go to the 'research' webpage and print this info out for them. I would like to continue to give him info and then go to N.C.State and speak with a PhD who did research on Dust Mites recently . Plus Duke has a Veterinary School that offers a Masters in managing infectious diseases. One of those depts should be interested or point me in the right direction. A well prepared presentation OR talking points would be most helpful. Would you consider putting something together? See what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage. Guest guest
Lou, I just returned from Tucson where I visited the U of Arizona entomology dept. and the biologist DID NOT show up for our scheduled appt.!!! I am so glad I didn't get my hopes up!!! These people that spend so much time going to school to supposedly help people or study things for the good of humanity seem to be a bunch of cowards who are terrified of anything they can't find in a text book. They make me sicker than these mites do Lou... However- I did meet a girl who owns an herb shop there and received some very helpful info from her. She gave me Callendula tea and salve which I have been taking along with colloidal silver and I am actually noticing improvement. My eyebrows are clearing up and the bald spot on my scalp is improving as well. I am also still using vinegar, peroxide, ammonia, epsom salts, sulfur 8 ointment and flower sulfur mixed with vaseline or petroleum based lotion and taking all measures necessary to keep my environment clean. I do believe that I will be free of this scourge soon but also believe that this happened to me for a significant reason which is most likely helping other's who may be afflicted by this demonic plague in the future. Thanks to you and everyone who contributes to this group for your efforts in helping us, you're all in my nightly prayers... God bless- Sikofmites > >Hi Tim, > > Do you think it might be an idea for us to have a " united approach " for > various universities and/or other research facilities? > > I know my Navy Dr. was impressed with the info I gave him so far (the > first printable page, Lice info from Lorelei, and the new printable > sheet).
