How old is your son? When did he start Accutane, and when did he stop (or did he?) Did the curative effects continue after stopping?

I have become involved with some research people and want to report everything I can that appears to be a treatment or insight into the disease process.

My son is 17 and just started the Accutane and is still on it. I

don't react as severly as he did to the bites but my dog and I

continue to suffer. I am starting to take high doses of Vitamin A to

see if that might help.

My roommate who has not been bother at all, took Accutane in the

past.

Excess Vitamin A can be dangerous and even deadly. Please see a doctor and let him/her know what you are taking and get monitored during this self-treatment. Dear ,

I just finished 5 months of Accutane hoping that would rid me of

these invisible demons. It did help reduce the rashes and large deep

bites that wouldn't go away but it did not stop them from biting me.

UGH! The mites are now free of acne, though! LOL!
