one of the children that I care for will be getting the chicken pox vax today

are there any precautions I should take for my unvaxed girls?

please don't tell me not to care for her for the next few days, unfortunately

that's not an option

I will give them extra doses of vit c, vit a, zinc, greens plus

any other ideas?

my 8yo has had chicken pox, but my 4yo hasn't

Your 8 yr old should be fine if she has already had it, and if it was

me, I'd hope the 4 yr old got it, that way you wont have to worry

about it anymore. I am always on the lookout for someone that I can

expose my kids to, but I can't seem to find anyone and they haven't

managed to pick it up yet. I know it's a bit of a pain, and it's

uncomfotable for them, but the immunities from actually having it,

usually last a lifetime, and the injection probably wont. I am hoping

they get it early so we dont have to worry about it later.

tell her nobody could prove the vaccines didn't give her kids the eczema

and asthma in the first place. the child's body is already going through

a tough time, trying to eliminate toxins. tell her to delay her vaxxes

for a long, long time so the kids skin and body can heal.

not vaxxing IS a total 180 for most people. so many people don't

question it. they've bought into the myth and I tell ya, it's hard to

get outside your comfort zone.

i.e.: on my sergers list we've been going through the " well my cat is

18 and has eaten kibble and canned food all his life. so why should I

consider feeding raw food? " and of course the FDA comes into it and " my

vet doesn't think raw is good so I'm going to do it " ..... yk, pets and

people are so closely intertwined!!! and AAFCO.. what a joke... there is

no enforcement of regulations (of the ones that are there) in the pet

food industry. it's almost a total " so??? " to say " well the food I feed

meets AAFCO's standards " ...my response would be " well they don't meet

mine!! "

you see the parallels? well my kids are fully vaxxed and they're totally

healthy! so they discount that vaccines could do harm.

I got my dh to back off on his pro-vaccine by telling him I was on the

fence and I was delaying while I researched. it was a tempered response

strategy b/c otherwise he was going off half-cocked accusing me of

'endangering his children' and inside I'm thinking, no honey, I don't

think I'm the one who is endangering our kids..but it's much better to

have him on the same page and be united.

You need to tell " MOM " that she needs to get some books on the dangers of

vaccines and read them. Then she will know what to say to doctors, etc.

she will not be intimidated by the medical establishment any more.

She is doing this for the health and possibly life of her kids.A good enough

reason, eh?

A mom that I know is considering this vaccine b/c she read that kids with skin

disorders like eczema and illnesses like asthma should get the vaccine. I

strongly disagree, but what would you say to her regarding this?

She is struggling a bit with her decision not to vax and wonders if she

should selectively vax instead. What advice can I give her?

Thanks!
