Guest guest
It always is a good idea to call the hospital administration and find out the policy on not having vit. K and shots. I had asked my midwife and the hospital tour guide and got the standard " just sign the waiver no problem " thing. Then after our birth a jumpy nurse caused all sorts of problems--threatening to call social services and ranting about how some couple she knew claimed to be monagamous and the husband had cheated and the baby had been at risk....I didn't know it was even happening until days later as my midwife shielded our birth experience from it, but I guess it was a HUGE ordeal/battle which forced the hospital to restate their position legally on waivers and so forth. We had a home birth next time around! L. The hospital called social services and they were " investigating "
