Yep, my son and I had it last week. Took us that long to figure the best way

to fight it off, so when it was my husband's turn we managed to fight it off

better.

Everyone who found out I was sick said something about that pneumonia that

originated in asia. I looked at them like they were nuts, because had I said

it, they'd have laughed me out of the county. :-)

I called a traditional doc, and was told it was just a cold. Too bad they

don't listen to us when we know to listen to our bodies. ;-) Oh, well.

It's strange. There was an elation? smugness? of sorts displayed. They seem

to see it as people running back to them to rescue them. It's a power high.

It's like when we stop mandating vaccines they'll be on their hands and knees

praying for outbreaks. just to have the flocks return to them.

I hate it that it seems to be that way. But some people would rather win

than recognize what is *Right*. The power they had over us is something that

fed their ego, and they are not going to give that up so easiliy. They like

people scared. They want us running back to them. Even if it means someone

died. They are desensitzed in medical school.

But your underlying state of health and susceptibility is what determines

Thoes of you who have a homeopath will be helped nicely in most cases.

I saw several doctors on the news just thrilled to death about thsi - they

were drooling - they are expecting a super flu any year now (have been for

decades) and they just can't wait.

Well, it may be the flu, I don't know. But there is tons of it. And

because people's immune systems every year get worse, this stuff gets

worse. And because so much garbage out there from those vaccinated

As always, there is no 'this'.

Each person reacts individually according to their susceptibility.

Of course Vitamin C is helpful as I always talk about it

And of course homeopathy. If you become sick and it is out of control

contact your homeopath as you would for anything. Othewise alllow your

vital force to work with this.

It is way to early to say more than this.

If it certainly starts to look like the flu epidemic of 1918 (which by the

way could have been related to vaccines used in WWI), then homeopaths will

be looking to find what looks to be what is called a genus epidemicus for

the situation

Chase had it shortly after 's kids got over it. I have a very good friend

whose son had the same thing ... fever for a week or so and the eternal cough.

Obviously none of us can say it was SARS, but like everything else, I think

they've blown things out of proportion.

That's not taking away from families that have lost loved ones, but if they

can't treat it with anything but steroids, what good are they really doing?

I did break down and had Chase doing his breathing treatments. There are some

things that I'm just not going to mess with and his respiratory function is one

of them.

I don't know what they are thinking by linking SARS to Measles & Mumps....

getting another vaccination isn't going to keep people from getting a

respiratory infection. Otherwise, the chicken pox (which is respiratory)

vaccine would be more effective. (Not that it would make me any more likely to

give it to the kids).

I think sheri just gets frustrated. I understand homeopathy is probably the

best way for all of us to go. HOWEVER, when it comes to choosing between having

heat, food & using our health insurance to see allopathic doctors, I really have

no choice but to succumb to the whole medical garbage. I don't go unless the

boys are REALLY REALLY sick. When Chase was sick, his dad really wanted me to

take him, but I didn't. I gave him Vit. C pushed fluids, and did his breathing

treatments. He didn't eat for 4 days, but he was well hydrated. I only gave

him Tylenol once... and that was just plain stupid on my part ... I woke him up

to give it to him HELLO TRACY ... if he's sleeping, he's comfortable ..

arghh....

So, there's my long winded take on everything that's been going on.

I'm back to bed ..... patiently (or not) waiting for this baby to come.

The media from what i can see has been playing it

down....its really odd

I'm in chicago and it's on the news here frequently enough, that I can't say

that they are downplaying it. They've even made the comment that there are

cases here.

I really don't know ..... but when the first report was out here and the doctor

was being interviewed, the first thing out of his mouth is " we don't have a

vaccine for this " for what? they didn't even know what it was ... they

probably still don't for that matter. You can't give everything a name.

What about what you can do to AVOID getting ill?

3 Tbsp. of unrefined coconut oil/ day. My kids take ~ 1 tsp./day and my ASD

child ~ 2 tsp./day. It has antiviral and antibacterial properties. I don't

know for sure if it is effective against SARS, but our family didn't have any

flu(s) this year--none.

No nasty stomach flu and/or respiratory.

Stay away from TFA's (trans fatty acids) as much as possible. This one is

difficult because hydrogenated oils are in practically everything. Yes,

Mcs (most fast food) would be a big NO, NO. I like to eat there myself,

but I avoid it as much as possible. Yes, we break down now and then and eat the

nasty stuff.

Yes, organic is a little more expensive, but worth it to me. I have been in

situations in the past where I have had all my kids sick, throwing up and myself

(plus dad) at the same time. Not a pretty picture. And very hard on mom.

We are not completely organic, but I try as much as I can to prepare organic

foods.

We also take a liquid multi-nutrient that is not synthetic. It is called

SeaSilver and my family

Try eating good salt--Celtic and/or Real salt. Get rid of Mortons--it is like

refined sugar and is hard on the body and of no value.

It doesn't have any real value because of how the salt is " killed " or

processed due to high temperatures.
